FREEZE THAW is the first short documentary I ever made at 16. It touches on themes of growing up, figuring out your place in the world, and what rapid change feels like. At the time I was interested in expressing this through the change of the seasons (winter through to summer), and a strong reliance on music video-style sequences. It's experimental, it's vulnerable, it's flawed, and shows a precise moment in time of how it felt being on the brink of discovering my creative identity.
